Offering in-person appointments in New Orleans and virtual therapy throughout Louisiana, Tennessee, and Texas.

How will we work together?

You don’t have to “clean up” yourself before coming to therapy. If you need to laugh, cry, swear, sit quietly, or celebrate a hard-earned win, there's room for all of it here. You don't have to perform, have the right words, or pretend everything is okay. Most importantly, I want you to feel like you can show up exactly as you are.

I draw from attachment and relationship-based theories, developmental science, trauma-informed care, and evidence-informed practices. That means I tailor therapy to you—not the other way around. Whether I'm working with a young child, a teenager, an adult, or an entire family, my goal is to understand the whole person and the relationships that matter most to them.

I don't believe therapy is about fixing what's "wrong" with you. I believe it's about understanding your story, recognizing your strengths, and helping you build healthier relationships—with yourself and the people you love.

Care & Connection Therapy is committed to providing affirming, culturally responsive care. I welcome people of all races, cultures, faith traditions, family structures, sexual orientations, gender identities, neurotypes, and abilities. My promise is simple: I'll meet you with respect, compassion, and genuine curiosity about your unique experience.

Why I Do this Work

I believe change is possible because I've seen it happen.

As a parent, I know what it means to be intentional about breaking cycles. It's meaningful work, and it isn't always easy. There are moments when we question ourselves, wonder if we're getting it right, or wish someone had shown us a different way.

That's one of the reasons I do this work.

Throughout my life, I've also experienced the incredible impact that caring, trustworthy people can have. At different points in my journey, someone believed in me, encouraged me, and helped me see possibilities I couldn't yet see for myself. Those relationships changed the course of my life.

Today, I have the privilege of being that person for others.

Whether you're trying to parent differently than you were parented, strengthen your relationships, or heal from painful experiences, I believe no one should have to figure it all out alone.
